Bukit Kembara
🥾 Hiking Trails · Taman Bukit Indah, Ulu Kelang, Ampang, Selangor
A short, sharp Ampang hill that punches above its height, with a steep climb to the top and a pretty lake loop on the way down. It's a favourite with after-work hikers who want a proper workout without driving out of town.
Don't miss: The lake loop below the summit (Route B), with the old tunnels and a small waterfall nearby

Bukit Batu Chondong
🥾 Hiking Trails · Kampung Kemensah, Ampang, Selangor
A tiny quartzite outcrop behind Zoo Negara that delivers a big-hill view for very little walking. The final scramble up the leaning rock is short but steep, so it feels like a mini Bukit Tabur without the all-day commitment.
Don't miss: Sunrise from the leaning quartzite summit rock looking back over Ampang and the KL skyline

Bukit Tabur West
🥾 Hiking Trails · Taman Melawati / Klang Gates, Ampang, Selangor
The western half of the Klang Gates quartz ridge, and for many hikers the purer 'dragon's back' experience: a knife-edge of white quartz with the Klang Gates reservoir on one side and the KL skyline on the other. It reopened under a permit-and-guide system after years of closure, so treat it with respect and go with a licensed guide.
Don't miss: Sunrise from the quartz crest with Klang Gates Dam glowing below and the Petronas Towers on the horizon
