Batu Caves

The 272 rainbow steps and 42.7m golden Murugan statue make this Malaysia's most recognised Hindu site. Come early, mind the cheeky macaques and dress respectfully.

Bukit Sri Bintang
🥾 Hiking Trails · Taman Sri Bintang, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur
Kepong's neighbourhood hill packs two peaks into a short loop, with the bald Peak 2 giving wide views over Desa ParkCity, the quarry and the KL skyline. It is free, gate-less and quick enough for a pre-work sweat, which is why the uncles and the trail runners are already coming down when you start.
Don't miss: The open 'botak' summit of Peak 2 at sunrise
