Sungai Gabai Waterfall
🌺🌺🌺 Highly Recommended · 💦 Waterfalls
Why go
Probably the easiest proper jungle waterfall from the Klang Valley: a short, shaded walk from the car park and you are in cool, clear pools. Weekends get packed with families, so go on a weekday if you want the water to yourself.
⭐ Don't miss: The big rock pool at the foot of the main cascade

Gunung Nuang
🥾 Hiking Trails · Pangsun, Hulu Langat, Selangor
Selangor's highest peak and the usual training ground for people eyeing Kinabalu. It is a long, honest slog through jungle, with camps at Lolo and Pacat to break the climb.
Don't miss: Reaching Kem Pacat and the ridge views toward the summit
Gunung Hitam
🥾 Hiking Trails · Sungai Lui, Hulu Langat, Selangor
The quieter, tougher neighbour of Gunung Nuang: a 1,220 m peak on the Selangor-Negeri Sembilan border, reached by a long climb through proper rainforest with rope sections near the top. Far fewer people do it, so it suits hikers who want a serious day out without the Nuang crowds.
Don't miss: The KL View checkpoint about 1.5 hours in, then Batu Gobok on the ridge
