The best waterfalls in Selangor in 2026 are Sungai Gabai Waterfall (Sungai Gabai, Hulu Langat), then Sungai Chiling Waterfall (Kuala Kubu Bharu) and Kanching Falls (Taman Eko Rimba Kanching) (Rawang).

Probably the easiest proper jungle waterfall from the Klang Valley: a short, shaded walk from the car park and you are in cool, clear pools. Weekends get packed with families, so go on a weekday if you want the water to yourself.

Sungai Chiling, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor
A multi-tier cascade and mahseer fish sanctuary beside the Fraser's Hill road, with a gentle jungle walk to the falls. It now runs on the SeForest e-permit system with a daily visitor cap, so plan ahead lah.

Templer's Park, Rawang, Selangor
Just half an hour from KL, Kanching is the classic seven-tier waterfall where generations of Klang Valley families have had their Sunday picnics. The first few tiers are reached by concrete steps, and the upper falls reward a short jungle scramble with quieter pools. Come early on weekends lah, parking runs out fast.
